Wendy Curry, Michael Page, and Gigi Raven officially observed Bisexuality Day at the International Lesbian And Gay Association Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. The mayor of San Francisco declared September 23, 1990, as Bisexual Pride Day. The first conference of this organization was organized and held in San Francisco that year and it attracted 450+ people from twenty different states and five different countries.
